With the participation of Inno-Water Inc., in the autumn of 2017, started the largest wastewater technology research project of the last 30 years.
In the framework of The Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme (GINOP) the winner project WALUE – Waste to Value („Innovative utilization of the energy and raw material content of municipal sewage and sewage sludge) is managed under the leadership of UTB Envirotec Inc.; in collaboration with the Bácsvíz Inc., the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Science, Department of Hydrobiology, and Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry for the Research Center for Agricultural Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Under the project, complex new sewage treatment technologies will be developed, which aim to utilize the energy and raw material content of communal sewage and sewage sludge.
The consortium that is based on the cooperation between Inno-Water Inc. as consortium leader, Budapest Waterworks Inc. and the National University of Public Service receives 66 700 480 Ft of non-refundable grant from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund within the framework of the Research and development projects in Hungarian-Israeli cooperation (TÉT_15_II). The project TÉT_15_IL-1-2016-0013, "SMARTCHLOR- Development of intelligent chlorination system for improving water safety and decreasing operation cost" is realised in partnership with CQM Ltd. from Israel. The goal of the project is to develop an intelligent chlorination device and network operating system that reduces public safety concerns caused by disinfection byproducts in drinking water and optimizes the residual chlorine content in the network.

The project “Development of an innovative vermicompost technology for municipal sewage sludge recycling” ended on 04.30.2017 with the cooperation of Inno-Water Inc. (host), the Local Government Association of Wastewater and sewage treatment of Érd Region, the Centre for Agricultural Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Institute for Soil Sciences and Agricultural Chemistry) and the Norsk Institutt for Bioøkonomi.
The object of the project was to develop a new technology which is based on the combination of vermicomposting and conventional composting technologies, so that the produced end product (worm humus) contains significantly smaller concentration of targeted pollutants compared to the initial communal sewage sludge.
Please note that the Inno-Water Environmental Research and Services Inc. has been registered in the Register of the Company Registry Court of Budapest-Capital Regional Court on 4th of May, 2016 as full legal successor of the Inno-Water Ltd., at the same time the Inno-Water Ltd. has been deleted.
Starting from 2015 Inno-Water Ltd. has implemented a Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Based on these basic aims and methods of management systems, and the requirements specified by MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009, MSZ EN ISO 14001:2005, MSZ 28001:2008 standards the Company has expanded and renewed its Policy, and furthermore will be operating accordingly.
